Introduction

The River Country Resort is a new luxury resort that has come up in Manali recently. Located off the bustling Mall Road, the resort overlooks the Beas River amidst pine and cedar trees. It offers a grand getaway into the breezing valleys of the mighty Himalayas.

Accommodation

Quality Inn River Country Resort offers its guests a choice of rooms and suites that are strikingly different from each other. Each room gives a spectacular view of the mountain ranges, the cedar forests and the resort garden. All suites of the resort even have independent fire places, balconies and Jacuzzi tubs with a separate massage panel.

Other accommodations of the resort are:

1)Super Deluxe - These spacious rooms have tea/coffee maker, a mini bar and an electronic safe. These rooms are centrally heated.

2) Duplex Suite -These suites have 2 double beds and twin toilets. In addition to these they also have tea/coffee maker, a mini bar and an electronic safe. These rooms are also centrally heated.

3) Deluxe Suite - The deluxe suites have balcony, fireplace and large tubs & twin sinks in toilets. Large screen LCD TV, DVD players, tea/coffee maker, mini bar and electronic safe are other amenities present in these suites. They have provision for central heater.

4) Double Bed Cottage - The lounges are equipped with fireplaces, large screen TV and DVD players. Additionally they have kitchenette, dining area, tea/coffee maker, mini bar and an electronic safe. They can be centrally heated.

5) Four Bed Cottage - The lounges are equipped with a fireplace, large screen TV and a DVD player. They also boast of a kitchenette and a dining area. Tea/coffee maker, mini bar and electronic safe are other modern amenities of this lounge. They have provision for central heater.

River Country Resort has the following restaurants:

1) DECK- Round the clock Cafeteria. Its menu boasts of freshly brewed cappuccino and authentic Italian pizzas.

2)BLU BAR & LOUNGE - Remains open from 4 in the evening to midnight. Its menu consists of light snacks and salads. Additionally it also serves a range of choicest Indian and imported spirits, cigars and hookas.

3) CURRY BY THE RIVER- Is open from 7 in the morning to midnight. Serves authentic Oriental and Indian cuisines.
