The Corbett Hideaway

Introduction

The Corbett Hideaway is spread over an area of 13 acres of land. It is one of those hotels in Corbett which is concealed in thick mango grove. During summer season, ripe and luscious mangoes hang right against the doors of the resort. The serenity of the environment is broken only by the sound of the Kosi River and the chirping birds.

Apart from the mango trees a bountiful of Jackfruit trees (near the reception) , variegated Bamboo trees, Hibiscus bushes, Rain flower, Gandharaja, Ticoma, Raat Ki Rani, Haemilia, Azalea and Guava trees can also be seen aplenty in the gardens of Corbett Hideaway.

Accommodations

All the charming cottages of the resort are air conditioned. They have been tastefully furnished with block wood furnishings. The floors have been made with cool stones upon which elegant rugs are laid out. Moreover the roofs of the cottages are constructed with tiles. All these details allow maximum comfort yet they also give one the feelings of being in the wild.

Cuisines

Hideaway's Gurney House is an elegant shelter for dining. This 20 feet high-ceiling restaurant has been named after the house Jim Corbett lived in for many years. This restaurant serves freshly cooked & exotic Continental and Indian cuisines. The bar of the restaurant is stocked up with several drinks. In addition to this there is also a thatched outdoor restaurant known as Jim's Grill House which lays out magnificent breakfasts, lunches and dinners to the guests of Corbett Hideaway.
