Kings Sanctuary Resort
Introduction
The Kings Sanctuary Resort boasts to be an eco-friendly resort. It is located at the northern border of the Rajiv Gandhi National Park in Nagarahole.
The resort is famous for using renewable resources. It has established a solar water heating system and a sewerage treatment plant.
Accommodations
Spread across 34 acres of mango orchards and lush green lawns, the Kings Sanctuary houses 24 air conditioned luxury suites and cottages. The cottages are splendidly done. Each of them has a verandah centered around a courtyard. The bathrooms are contemporary with all basic amenities. The lagoon suites of Kings Sanctuary border the 6 acre lake.
Cuisines
The contemporary looking restaurant of the resort serves varieties of Chinese and Continental menus however their specialty is Mysore cuisine. The restaurant also has a well stocked bar.
Facilities
The conference hall of Kings Sanctuary is equipped with all business equipments like white board, pointer, flip chart board, screen, LCD, slide projector, oh projector, TV and VCR. It can accommodate 65 people in theatre style seating arrangement. The pool side deck of the resort can also be used for private parties as well as business meetings. A well maintained swimming pool overlooking a 6-acre manmade lake is another attractive feature of Kings Sanctuary Resort. There is a fully equipped gym where guests can work out.
