Resorts in Sariska National Park

Once a hunting ground for the erstwhile Maharaja of Alwar, Sariska National Park was declared as a wildlife reserve in the year 1955 and later in 1978 it was given the status of a tiger reserve. Within this national park there exist the ruins of medieval temples of Garh-Rajor, belonging to the 10th and 11th centuries. All this makes Sariska National Park a favorite tourist destination.
