Royal Tiger Resort
Introduction
The Royal Tiger Resort is located at a two minutes driving distance from the Mukki gate, which is one of the two entrances of Kanha National Park. It is spread across 6 acres of dense Sal forest and has been designed by being inspired by the mud huts of Madhya Pradesh local tribes. The beautiful Banjar River flows just behind this resort.
Accommodations
Royal Tiger Resort has a total of 18 Air-Conditioned luxury suites. These suites are arranged in groups of two or four for the convenience of the guests. Their interiors have been tastefully decorated. All of them have attached modern bathrooms and an adjoining verandah that overlooks the forest. The large windows of the rooms make them sunny & airy whereas the slanting tiled roof is good for heavy rainfall and to keep the room temperatures low. Though there is no T.V in the rooms of Royal Tiger but arrangement has been made for other modern equipments that are essential for comfortable jungle stay.
Within the premise of the resort are the sacred Mahua trees around which are built Chabutras or platforms where guests can sit and relax. In addition to this, the "Machan" which is created on rooftop of Royal Tiger resort, is an ideal place for sitting and enjoying the spectacular view of the surrounding forests.
Cuisines
The restaurant of the resort cooks delectable cuisines that are prepared from organic & farm fresh vegetables that are grown in the nearby villages. In non-vegetarian dishes fresh river water fish and village poultry is used. Sizzling & mouthwatering barbecues are prepared in the kitchen Tandoor.
The Royal Tiger Resort also organizes riverside lunch for its guests on special occasions.
